Emaldo®
Emaldo is an advanced energy management system designed to optimise energy use, storage and management in homes and businesses. Emaldo uses smart technology to balance energy consumption, prioritise the use of renewable energy and store surplus energy - with the aim of reducing the need to use conventional electricity.
For consumers, Emaldo brings many benefits: it reduces electricity costs, improves energy efficiency and ensures reliable electricity supply even during peak demand or in case of power cuts. Emaldo enables users to make sustainable and economic energy choices.
How does it work?

Virtual Power Plant (VPP): the Emaldo systems are connected to a virtual network that allows them to be controlled together.

Balancing offers: Emaldo® has tested the system with Fingrid, and has signed an agreement whereby the reserve market services provided by the Emaldo® system were introduced in Finland from 1 October 2024.

Automatic adjustment: the system reacts automatically to the needs of the network.

Reward: the system owner is compensated for participation through the Emaldo® Grid Rewards programme.
